You cannot take wonderful pictures with this machine, but quality is good enough for everyday use. This product has a high performance/price ratio.
Watch Out

I bought this camera on Amazon from a company that is no longer in business and took my camera on vacation. I took a few pics with it and was happy with the performance except for the fast moving images, but I could get by. Then the LCD went black and I took some pictures and sometimes the picture would show up on the LCD and sometimes it would not. It’s not even 2 months old and Nikon won’t warranty it cause (1) the shop I bought it from no longer exists and (2) the shop was in Washington state and they have different warranties for a few of the states. I’m in California. I won’t be buying another Nikon.
