I definitely wanted a small camera to replace my Neanderthat Kodak 2 MP camera, but I did NOT want a postage-stamp-size camera! At my age (66), I need to be able to SEE the camera and all its push buttons and PRESS the push buttons correctly (I suffer from an inherited shaking syndrome), so this camera freezes the shot before the shutter operates. Just what I wanted! Takes great pictures too!

I am very disappointed in this camera. I bought it for my daughter for Christmas thinking it would last her several years. It has been 2 1/2 months, She has used it only a few times and the thing is already broken. The lense protector won’t close and the zoom lense does not retract all the way. It does not take very good pictures either. What a disappointment. I thought I’d be safe with a canon but won’t make that mistake again.

I wanted to buy a fun but also a quality camera for my pre-teen daughter. I am a professional photographer and was looking for a portable camera for her birthday present. I did not want to buy the first camera that came along my way; the quality of picture and the response time were two important things for me. I looked and looked and came across these Canon digital cameras. First they looked kinda tacky and cheapish because of their color. But I searched a little bit more and found out all good things about them. I bought one and am glad that I did. They are a lot more solid and quality than they look. They take great pictures and they are fun to have. Highly recommended.

We purchased this camera about a month ago, and couldn’t be more pleased with it! We wanted an upgrade from our 5mp Polaroid. We had been comparing for some time. We wanted a quality camera for a reasonable price. This is really a great deal. Pictures are awesome. The camera itself is very simple to use. My husband is also using it for his photography class at college. Battery life is remarkable. Totally recommend!
